Time to Heal
The therapeutic relationship is central to good therapy. That's why we will work collaboratively with a specific or integrative approach that is right for you
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is one approach, lasting around 6 to 8 sessions. The aim is to enable you to break the vicious cycle of negative thinking, feelings and behaviours that are holding you back from living a normal life. Other longer term approaches include Person Centred (Humanistic) this deals with the ways in which individuals percieve themselves, the focus is on the person not the problem
Psychodynamic explores
childhood background and/or experience of relationships, significant or otherwise. Our feelings, motives and decisions are actually powerfully influenced by our past experiences and stored in our unconscious. Making links from the past to our present, identifying unhelpful reoccuring patterns can all help make sense of how we are living our lives
